The judicial commission formed to probe targeted killings in Karachi has rejected the lists of murdered political activists provided by nine political and religious parties and ordered submission of postmortem reports and ambulance and graveyard receipts of every murdered activist.
The judicial commission headed by Justice (retd) Zahid Qurban Alvi has called the representatives of the nine parties – the Muttahida Quami Movement, the Pakistan People’s Party, the Awami National Party, the Jamaat-e-Islami, the Mohajir Quami Movement-Haqiqi, the Awami Tehreek, the Sunni Tehreek, the Kachhi Rabita Committee and the Jafria Alliance – to its office on Tuesday (today).
The commission was constituted by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to probe targeted killings in the city.  The commission expressed dissatisfaction over the lists provided by the nine parties because they only submitted the names of the murdered activists and not other details. Qazi Asif
