The Punjab government has appointed Rana Muhammad Farooq as special assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister for Environment Protection Department. He will be in-charge of Public Facilitation Centre (PFC) of the department. The appointment, on honorary basis, is not entitled any remuneration and salary. The PFC will act as Resident Centre to record public complaints and address the same in collaboration with concerned authorities through respective liaison officer. Administrative department will ensure provision of necessary logistic support like an office with basic support and pick and drop services.
