Malir Additional District and Sessions Judge Munawar Sultana framed charges against Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) chief Afaq Ahmed in the Farooq Baig murder case on Monday. Afaq had pleaded not guilty. The judge ordered issuance of notices to prosecution witnesses for February 12 and adjourned the hearing. Farooq, a MQM activist, was shot dead in 2011 and Afaq was nominated in the case while in jail.
