The final day of the ‘National Science Olympiad’ held at LUMS came to an end the other day. Based on the theme of the movie ‘Casino Royale’, a formal dinner-cum-closing-ceremony marked the end four-day journey for both the organisers and the participants.
The dinner included other activities, like the launch of a science magazine worked on by some LUMS student and a motivational speech by Raza, who is involved with many companies including Pak Wheels. The highlight of the night was, undoubtedly, the awards given out to the winning teams. A whole host of participating teams were winners for individual events, and hence the list of winning teams for individual events was widespread.
