University of Lahore (UoL) convincingly clinched the final of the All Pakistan Universities Championship in style after beating BZU Multan. Lahore dominated the match with there front row wining all the scrums and a great line of backs with the UoL scoring three tries from the wing with the final score of 37-5 which was the highest score of the tournament. The tournament was hosted by the University of Lahore under the auspices of HEC while the tournament was officiated and technical supported by the Pakistan Rugby Union.
The two-day event was played on a knock-out system. The tournament was held early as it also acted as a selection process for the HEC team for the upcoming All Pakistan Rugby Championship that is scheduled for next week which will be hosted by the Fata Rugby Association in Peshawar. University of Animal and Veterinary Science won the bronze model after upsetting UMT University. The other universities which participated in the event were Agriculture University Faisalabad, BZU Multan, Government College University, IUB, Punjab University, Sargodha, UVAS, University of Central Punjab, University of Lahore, University of Management and Technology and University of Peshawar.
