Sindhi nationalists to strike against MQM’s bill

Sindhi nationalists on Sunday termed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) bill regarding formation of South Punjab and Hazara provinces as a conspiracy to divide Sindh. Talking to journalists, Awami Tehreek chief Ayaz Lateef Paleejo said that all Sindhis condemned the MQM’s bill and a wheel jam strike will be held on January 28 against it. He said that the MQM was trying to create divisions, which would not be tolerated. Paleejo said that despite different views, all Sindhi nationalist parties were united not to let the province’s division. The Save Sindh Organisation also announced to join the strike.
