Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has directed law enforcement authorities to ensure recovery of six missing students of Rawalpindi and present a report within 24 hours.
Shahbaz issued these directives while chairing a high level in Islamabad after his arrival from London, on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Rawalpindi, Regional Police Officer (RPO) and other officials.
The officials briefed the CM about the efforts made for recovery of the missing students, including three girls and three boys of matriculation of a private school of Wilayat Colony Rawalpindi.
It should be mentioned that the students went missing few days earlier.
Initially, media reported that the missing youngsters were kidnapped while on their way back homes, but later it was revealed that the students willingly went to Murree and the police claimed that they found the students in a hill resort by tracking their mobile phones. However, the students are yet to be recovered.
