Sindh nationalist parties to observe strike on Jan 28 against MQM bill

Nationalist parties of Sindh have termed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) bill regarding formation of new provinces as a conspiracy to divide Sindh province.
It should be mentioned here that MQM had tabled a constitutional amendment bill in the National Assembly seeking the creation of new provinces in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Awami Tehreek chief Ayaz Lateef Paleejo said that all Sindhis condemn MQM’s bill and a powerful wheel jam strike will be observed on Jan 28 against it.
He said that MQM was attempting to create divisions which would not be tolerated, adding that despite differences in viewpoints, all nationalist parties of Sindh are united at the point to not let the province divided.
The “Save Sindh” organization has also announced to join the strike against MQM bill.
