Protect rights of masses, clerics: PML-N Ulema Wing

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ulema Mashaikh Wing representatives on Saturday stressed the need to recognise the rights of common masses and clerics in the society in order to stable the country.
They expressed these views during a conference on “Stability of Pakistan and Ulema Mashaikh” at a local hotel. Several leaders of PML-N including Raja Zafar-ul-Haq and Capt (r) Safdar participated in the event.
They said world peace could be established by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), adding, “We can eliminate extremism and violence from the world by getting guidance through the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as well as footprints of four Caliphs.” Raja Zafar-ul-Haq said ulema enjoyed great respect in the society and people had to promote the concept of love, brotherhood and mutual tolerance for ensuring peace in the world.
He asked the ulema to play an effective role in the setting up of a society based on religious harmony, broadmindedness and social equality.
PML-N leaders were of the view that their party had been extending all-out efforts to secure the rights of clerics in the society. They expressed the confidence that the PML-N would fulfil all its promises, adding that their manifesto had been designed to facilitate and benefit the common man, while the previous regime had obliged only selected persons, they asserted.
They further said sovereignty was the key for stability of the country and the incumbent rulers should also learn lesson from this fact and they should not allow any country to interfere in the affairs of Pakistan.
