The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)-Pakistan has joined hands with the Indus Motor Company to launch the Toyota School Environment Programme to be held on Sunday, January 22, at the Pakistan Air Force Museum, said a statement issued on Thursday.
“We shall engage students and teachers of private and public schools, colleges and universities in various environment-based competitions, including three-dimensional model making, games and other environmental activities,” said the statement.
WWF-Pakistan’s Corporate Relations Department organises the Nature Carnival annually to raise environmental awareness among the masses.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for various WWF conservation projects across Pakistan.
The overall objective of this programme is to foster a sense of individual responsibility and accountability in the future generation of Pakistan towards nature conservation and sustainable living.
