Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said on Friday that he wants to strengthen the institutions. He said if every institution functions in its constitutional ambit, the clash can be avoided.
The Prime Minister was talking the media at the convocation of a university here. The premier said that it is the job of the opposition to criticise the government and the people should let them fulfill their duty. He also asked what the opposition did when they were in power.
The premier said that the government’s job is to follow the mandate of the people. He said that the Pakistan Peoples Party-led government respects the judiciary and strives to maintain equilibrium in all the institutions.
We are tired of this rant. Which "institution" he is trying to strengthen other than his and AZ's bank accounts?
