Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and President Asif Ali Zardari met on Friday at the presidency, a private TV channel reported.
In the meeting, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Khalid Shameem Wynne and Chiefs of Pakistan Navy and Air Force were also present.
Professional matters, NATO strike, Parliamentary Committee for National Security’s recommendations and security issues were discussed during the meeting between both the leaders. National economy and proceedings of the Parliament were also discussed.
President Zardari decorated Admiral Asif Sandila, CNS with NI (M). Every service chief is awarded NI (M) after he takes command and all the services chief attend the ceremony. So we should not be speculative about these formal meetings between President and Service Chiefs.
They have discussed everything. I mean everything including things not mentioned in this news item.

It is unfortunate Army is not behaving properly nor discharging its responsibility to defend our territorial sovereignty. They are interfering in politics which is not their domain. Constitution should be implemented in letter & spirit. Army Chief should report to Defence Minister and very rarely allowed audience by the President.
