Two unidentified impersonating as police officials deprived a citizen of Rs 140,000, police said. The incident took place at Rawat in the Sihala Police precincts.
According to the police, Atta-ur-Rehman said in his application that he was driving when two men, disguised as police officials, intercepted his car at Rawat.
The plaintiff added that the accused were carrying police wireless sets and had placed a revolving light on the dashboard of their car. They demanded a physical search after which they took away Rs 140,000.
The Sihala Police registered an FIR against unidentified people. “It is a serious issue as the fraudsters impersonated police officials and looted an innocent man. We have started an investigation and will arrest the accused very soon,” said Sihala Police ASI Ishfaq Ahmed.
Not a new thing.All these activities are being done with the help of police.What the helpless people can do ? as is the case of champions of Democracy,who are looting and exploiting the public openly.Every wrongwork is being done with the help of police,but who cares for the poor.
