Mansoor Ijaz, the protagonist of the controversial memogate scandal, was issued a one-year multiple Pakistani visa from the Pakistan High Commission in London, Geo News reported on Thursday. Ijaz is due to appear before the judicial commission investigating the case on January 24. He has however decided to keep the day of his arrival and location of his stay in Pakistan confidential. Earlier, Interior Minister Rehman Malik told reporters that complete security would be provided to Ijaz when he comes to Pakistan.

This will be a golden opportunity for holding him for a while and interrogating him for his conspiracies against our country. After all, the Americans held hundreds of our citizens in Guantanamo Bay. So, they will have no locus standi to protest if we hold one of their citizens.
I am surprised to read comments like arrest Mr. Mansoor Ijaz for conspiracies against our country. What conspiracies? He is an American national. Whatever he has done or doing is in his country’s national interest. If some Pakistani has helped him in doing that then that Pakistani is traitor not Mansoor Ijaz.
Surprising that Mansoor Ijaz managed to get Pakistan's visa from Pakistan High Commission in London. I think Wajid Shamsul Hassan must be on leaves these days!!!
