Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) sources on Wednesday strongly regretted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s interview given to AFP and published in the local media in which he demanded Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani’s disqualification over the Supreme Court’s alleged terming of the PM as ‘dishonest’.
The sources referred to Justice Asif Saeed Khosa’s remarks published in newspapers on January 17, in which the SC judge clarified that the bench never used words ‘dishonest’ and ‘corrupt’ for the PM in the context highlighted by the media and termed it as a misconception.
