Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has added two more flights on its Karachi-Muscat sector from January 14 to facilitate Pakistani expatriates, Pakistan Today learnt on Wednesday.
The new flights would facilitate outgoing passengers from all over the country via Karachi to join their work places on Saturday, the first working day of the week, but will also provide variety in inbound travel on Saturday for Karachi and connections for all over Pakistan and Dhaka. In an effort to deal with the increasing traffic in the Sialkot-Muscat route, another busy route for the airline, PIA has increased its capacity to carry more passengers to their destinations. “Keeping in view the tremendous demand on Muscat-Sialkot-Muscat sector, PIA has upgraded PK229/230 Wednesday/Thursday to operate by Airbus instead of B-737. Now, ample seats would available on this flight,” PIA officials disclosed.
