Shabab-e-Milli, Christians protest

Dozens of workers of Shabab-e-Milli Lahore on Monday lodged a massive protest against Gulshan-e-Iqbal Police for registering fake cases of rape against their workers from Bhaikhay Wali. The protest started from Government Science College at about 2pm under the leadership of Shabab-e-Milli Deputy Secretary Nadeem Bara. Protestors were carrying placards, banners and posters inscribed with slogans against Gulshane Iqbal Police and especially against DSP Gulshane Ravi. They claimed that a fake rape case had been registered against their workers including Saif, Abdul Rehman, Usman and Zeeshan for following a case of land grabbing of a local namely Imtiaz while no medical reports had been obtained from the women. They said they would block The Mall Road if their demands were not met.
CHRISTIANS PROTEST: Separately, around 500 Christians including men, women and children continued protesting against the demolition of Church-owned building Gosha-e-Aman and the seizing of land in Garhi Shaho Area on Monday.
