PPP can’t think about contempt of court: Chandio

Federal Law Minister Maula Buksh Chandio has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) gives due respect to the judiciary and it cannot even think of contempt of courts.
Speaking to the journalists outside the parliament on Tuesday, he said that PPP did not adopt the way to escape form the resolution passed by the parliament
He said that Babar Awan is a brave and fearless man, but he has not talked about the decision of Supreme Court.
The federal minister said that opposition should not let the resolution be passed from the parliament which produces the wrong impression in general public regarding the parliament. He said that opposition always talks of the flourishing of democracy but does not backs its words by action.
“Opposition should cooperate with the government in the strengthening of democracy and to resolve the problems being faced by the country as this is no time to continue the politics of the past”, Chandio added.

  1. The problem is that persons who are occupying the courts themselves, that is the judges, are committing worst kind of contempt of court through their irresponsible remarks.
