A Pakistan Air Force aircraft crashed during training in sea, near Azmeer airbase in Turkey here on Tuesday.
According to a PAF spokesman, PAF Squadron leader Masood Hussain had taken the plane from Azmeer Airbase for giving training to Turkish trainee pilots when it crashed into the sea.
He said that any casualty could not be ascertained yet in the incident, adding the main reason of the plane crashing could not be known.
The spokesman said that rescue team had recovered some parts of the crashed aircraft from the sea while instructor pilot Masood Hussain and other trainee pilots could not be recovered till the filing of this repot.
The rescue operation is currently underway.

It is really a sad news,not only for the family of Shaheed Squadron leader Masood Hussain but also for whole Pakistan and a great loss for Pakistan Air Force.

Sad indeed, but also very alarming to see PAF aircraft crashing on seemingly regular basis since the last several years. This was an airforce that used to be second to none in so many aspects, but now, something is terribly wrong somewhere. The country cannot afford regular loss of very expensive (atleast for this country) aircraft and irreplaceable and priceless pilots. I hope the concerned authorities wake up and fully devote themselves to stop this horrible trend.

I would like to say that they are all ok nd they survived; but unfortunately I guessthe chanse getting lose every hour. i met nd knew Major Mr Masood Hussain CHHACHHAR we spend couple hours in dining facilities; I just remembering that about him; he was calm ; modest and good person always. i hope the passion for their lovely families and for his country pakistan.
