Armed clash in Chamaling claims over 6 lives

Armed clash between security forces and armed elements in Chamaling has claimed more than 6 lives.
Official sources have announced that armed elements attacked security personnel on Monday when security personnel were busy setting up a check post.
Local official sources, while confirming the attack have said that many of the attackers had been killed and injured in retaliation, while private sources have denied that any attack on security force took place at all; rather the security forces had surrounded the entire area and began a grand operation, using heavy explosives and weaponry, while fear and panic ruled.
Sources have said that security forces had also arrested numerous people and shifted them to unknown places for interrogation.
Online contacted security sources in Quetta and were informed that security troops were attacked by unknown elements, due to which 10 of them were killed; while questions regarding official casualties were parried.
It is pertinent to remember that a clash between security forces and miscreant dissidents occurred at this very spot, during which 14 security personnel were martyred and BLA (Baloch Liberation Army) had accepted the responsibility, while claming 40 security personnel martyred.
Chamaling region is known for its coal deposits, and Musharraf regime had initiated a project in 2007, which was strongly resisted by miscreant dissidents.
