Residents of I-10 Sector have strongly protested against supply of toxic water through filtration plants owing to negligence of the authorities concerned, saying the plant is causing health hazards. The filtration plant located in I-10/1 and I-10/3 has turned into a breeding ground for bacteria for lack of cleanliness arrangements. The sector is manned by government employees chiefly and they rush towards this plant to get clean drinking water but, to their disappointment, they fail to materialise their desire as it is supplying toxic water. The water tank and machinery have grown rustic and layers upon layers of mud and dust can be seen inside the tank, which are polluting the water. The inmates of the area have complained that no one has been appointed to look after the plant for keeping it clean.
