‘3 PMs killed, 4th issued contempt notice’

Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan said on Monday that Pakistan’s history shows that two prime ministers had been murdered, one sent to gallows and now the fourth PM served a contempt of court notice.
He was talking to journalists after condoling the demise of Mohsin Shah Bukhari with his family in Tando Muhammd Khan.0
“Two prime ministers, Liaquat Ali Khan and Benazir Bhutto were murdered while Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged and now the fourth prime minster has been issued a contempt of court notice,” Wassan said.
With reference to Wali Khan Babar case, he wondered under what condition the two accused arrested from Hyderabad were released by a court, adding, he would himself conduct its investigation.
“Only a court can dispense justice to Wali Khan Babar,” he said. He said Senate elections would be held first followed by local and general elections.
