On the instructions of Inspector General of Police, security has been beefed up all over the province on the occasion of the chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). DIG Operations Lahore Police Ghulam Mahmood Dogar also visited the route of Chehlum procession in the provincial metropolis and monitored the security arrangements. The procession will come out of Alif Shah Haveli inside Delhi Gate early in the day and travelling through its traditional route of Mochi Gate, Rang Mahal, Pani Wala Talab, Bhatti Gate it would end in Karbala Gamy Shah late at night.
