Labour minister urges leadership qualities in students

Punjab Labour Minister Haji Ehsan-ud-Din Qureshi on Saturday asked the teachers to inculcate leadership abilities in the students to develop confident and energetic young leaders.
Talking to a delegation of labourers, teachers and students, he said that 28,000 labourers’ children were being provided free of cost education at 46 workers welfare schools, while 8,000 adults were receiving education at the adult schools. He said that the Punjab government would setup women universities in Bahawalpur, Multan, Sialkot and Faisalabad to create opportunities of higher education for them.
The labour minister said further that the government had distributed 60,000 education vouchers among the deserving students to enable them to complete their education.
