President Asif Zardari who had gone to Dubai Thursday afternoon on a private visit to attend a wedding returned to Islamabad in
the wee hours of Friday morning.
Spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said that the President stayed in Dubai for a few hours on private visit to attend a wedding.
The one-day trip came after a confrontation between Pakistan’s civilian leaders and the military over a probe into the government’s role in a scandal centred on a mysterious memo that sought US help in curbing the army’s power.
Asked whether Zardari was concerned about political crisis gripping the country, Babar said, ”Absolutely not. Why should he be?”
Must be a test run. Practising for the real thing….
Any deal again with Mushraff?
Zardai is not aperson who will deal with Musharraf, it is Nawaz Sharif who enjoyed a deal with Musharraf. NS is doing the same deal with TWO CHIEFS to throw out Zardari with offering by sholder.
LOL @ Who should be then?
Lol – love the caption . Someone seems pissed : p
of course we the public…..he will run dubai , we wd be here:)
phati pari ha ,escaping to dubai ..i wish the army gets his ass and spanks it hard
again Zardari will be the next.
LOL! Was he ever worried all these 4 years?! He’ll only be worried when the Malak-ul-Maut comes to him…..JAAG JAO MR. KHAPPAY! Toba kar lo ab bhi waqt hai!
There is not a single reason that he should be worried. It’s Pakistani nation, its economy & infrastructure that is suffering, not Zardari’s foreign-based accounts & flow of “commission” money in them.
Really a brave man.
