Students create ruckus at KU

A group of violent students created ruckus at an examination center of Karachi University, leading to postponement of today’s exams.
According to a KU spokesman, a group of students demanded illegal admissions and ransacked mathematics, geography and chemistry departments in the form of sub-groups, tearing apart the exams’ question papers.
The spokesman said that only merit would be given consideration in admissions at the university.
Police and Rangers soon reached the site and brought the situation under control.
