Rejecting the attorney general’s plea about rescheduling cases fixed before the judicial commission and the SC on the same day (January 16), the CJP on Thursday held that the memo and NRO cases were very important and had already been fixed by the commission and the court, therefore, any order passed for readjustment would likely delay the proceedings. Earlier, the AG had submitted an application in the SC seeking readjustment of the hearings of the two cases because both the cases were fixed on January 16.
