The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is ready to talk to every political party except the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), which has betrayed the PTI twice in the past, party Chairman Imran Khan said on Thursday.
He said the PML-N was equally responsible for the current situation of the country and it had betrayed the PTI in the 2008 general elections and during the long march for the restoration of judges. He said the PML-N was just raising anti-Zardari slogans, but was supporting the government behind the curtain. “If the PML-N is sincere with the people of Pakistan, it should resign from parliament immediately,” Imran said.
He said that people were very much aware of the political set up and wanted immediate change in the country. “The system will not be derailed, instead it will get more strength if the present government goes,” he said.
“We will not support any coup and will not tolerate any extra judicial step,” the PTI chief said, adding that those who were derailing democracy were attacking the judiciary. “The Supreme Court is respected in every country of the world, but the current government is not ready to respect the verdicts of the apex court,” he lamented.
To a question, Imran said everyone was accountable and no one was above the law. He said the SC was not a party and the government should do whatever the court asks. He said if any conspiracy was hatched against the SC, the PTI would stand by the court and take to the roads in its favour.
He demanded the government write a letter to the Swiss government for reopening graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari. The PTI chief said Zardari was trying to hide his corruption. “The damage done to the country through the NRO is before the entire nation. NRO granted immunity to the biggest of robbers. Small robbers are in jails while the biggest looter has become president of the country,” he said.

    • ESTABLISHMENT doesn't like PML-N??? Zia MADE Nawaz Sharif! Nawaz was Zia's little chamcha.
      Please do not misreport.

  1. I recently was in Dubai and was informed by locals that the first thing that Mr Zardari did was to purchase a plaza next to a plaza that was in the name of the late Benazir Bhutto. The foundations and intentions were firmly laid early on as to where his priorities lay with this early act!!!

    " He said the PML-Q had negated the mandate of the people by supporting the PPP government and he had left the party when the Chaudhrys were enjoying the government. Meanwhile, addressing another media conference at his residence at Zaman Park, Imran Khan said that the people of Pakistan would distribute sweetmeats if they got rid of the PPP, which was willing to become a ‘political martyr.’ Another group of former MPAs, including Irshad Hussein Sethi, Mian Asgher, Itikhhar Bhangu and Ahmed Khan Gaadi, former MNA Riffat Javed Kahlun, Sajid Bashir Buttar, Omar Aftab Dhillon also joined the PTI."

    " PAKISTAN Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has ruled out any dialogue with the PML-N or JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman; however, he warned the government against launching any assault on the judiciary. "

  3. Hypocrites like Nawaz and Co are more fatal to the country than proved thieves murderers and looters of other parties. Some ppl still hanging on to the ‘establishment’ thing are doing nothing but kid talk.

    also PPP’s ZAB himself initiated the political wing of ISI, to keep his opponents in check

    —some facts which u wont hear otherwise.

    And yes former MNA Riffat Javed Kahlon defeated Ahsan Iqbal from our constituency.

    let the war(political) begin 🙂

  4. Hypocrites like Imran Khan are the most dangerous for the country. At one point in time he used to dub MQM as a Mafia more than a political party. Now he is willing to talk to “all” including the Mafia. PMLN being the only exception as he is hell bent upon following a single point agenda of eliminating PMLN from the political scene. Time to bid farewell to the politics of hatred Mr. Khan…. Hatred begets hatred !

  5. The biggest hypocrites are the N league just l;ook at their politics they blaste zardari but wer their coalition partners for 3.5 years they blasted MQM but tried to makean alliance with thm a few months ago they blast the Q lague but are now thier allies in Punjab.PTI is right to shun them they are a part of the problem and not a part of the solution
