PML-Q’s Aleem Khan joins PTI

Former Pakistan Mulsim League – Quaid (PML-Q) leader and Punjab minister Abdul Aleem Khan joined the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday. He made the announcement in the presence of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. Abdul Aleem Khan showed his confidence in Imran Khan and hoped that he would play a positive role for the development of the country. Speaking at the occasion, Abdul Aleem Khan said that in his last nine years’ political career, no one could blame him for the corruption of single rupee and he had handed over his assets’ file to Imran Khan. He said that that PML-Q had negated the mandate of the people by supporting the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) government and he had left the party when the Chaudharys were enjoying government. He said that his colleagues would work for the betterment of the country headed by Imran Khan and strengthen Tehrik-e-Insaaf.
On this occasion, former parliamentary secretary Shoaib Siddiqui, former members provincial assembly (MPAs) Talib Sindhu, Mansha Sindhu, former town Nazims Faraaz Ahmed Chaudhary, Mian Javed Ali, former candidates Nasrullah Moghal, Fayyaz Bhatti, Nazir Chohan, Women Office Bearers Naghma Ejaz, Ghazala Khan, former member national assembly (MNA) Annaza Ehsan, former Nazims and Naib Nazims announced their joining PTI. The PTI leaders, including Khurhsid Kasuri, Jehangir Tarin, Mahmood-ur-Rashid, Saeed Virk, Khalid Mahmood and Umer Sarfraz Cheema were also present on the occasion.
