A woman, her son and two labourers were arrested for digging an old grave in the Shahzad Town police precincts.
Police said Malang Shah lodged an FIR against four people for digging his mother’s grave and putting some thing in it.
After the FIR was registered on Thursday the police arrested the accused who confessed to the crime during a preliminary investigation, saying that they did so to place a ‘taveez’ in the grave.
The accused were identified as Nighat Bibi, her son Ashraf Gondal and labourers Imran and Riaz. The police presented the accused before the magistrate on Friday who ordered that the culprits be held on judicial remand.
