A local court on Friday dismissed a petition of the first wife of Sohail Tanveer against the cricketer for allegedly harassing her. Sohail Tanvir’s ex-wife, Noshin Agha, moved the court against Tanveer a couple of weeks ago, alleging he was harassing her. She submitted before the court that she was still Tanvir’s wife. Upon her allegations, Tanvir also filed a civil suit against his ex-wife and contended that he had divorced Nosheen and she was leveling false allegations against him. However, the court of Civil Judge Mazhar Abbas dismissed the application of Nosheen Agha, saying that she was claiming Tanvir as her husband, so she could not proceed against him under Section 491.
