PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said on Thursday that politicians should work with open mind and all issues should be resolved collectively.
While talking to journalists after the Parliamentary Party meeting held to discuss current situation, he said there should be no confrontation among the institutions.
Replying to a question, he said the problems could not be resolved by taking to the streets. He said all the issues could be resolved only through negotiation.
Responding to another question, he said they were part of the government and added that being a coalition partner his party would support the government.
Earlier, a delegation of PPP leaders visited the head of the PML-Q, an allied party in the coalition government, at a time when the PML-N has decided to file a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Gilani.
The delegation comprised Syed Khushid Shah, Naveed Qamar, Nazar Muhammad Gondal and Raja Pervez Ashraf.
