Department of Pakistani Languages, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), has arranged a daylong national literary seminar with reference to Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai’s death anniversary on January 17 at 10:30am at the council hall of the university.
VC Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi, Vice-Chancellor, AIOU will preside over the seminar. Scholar Naseer Memon will deliver his lecture while selected parts out of the documentary film prepared by the AIOU would also be screened.
Other speakers of the seminar were Institute of Educational Technology Director Muhammad Qasim Haider, Bureau of University Extension and Special Projects Director Mir Mukhtiar Talpur and Dr Abdulullah Jan Abid, in charge, Department of Pakistani Languages of the University.
