968th Urs of Hazrat Ali Hajveri, known to people as Data Ganj Bukhsh brings so much activity in the historical city of Lahore. This provincal capital is sourrounded by so many historical landmarks. Mughal dynasty's Palaces, Gardens, Mosques and Forts stand out and could be visited repeatedly to have fun and more fun. Lahore is famous for Sufism and there are so several Saints who came to this place to spread the message and general teachings. Starting from Data Sahib, right next to his tomb, Karbala Gamay Shah is situated, in walking distance we have Pir Makki Shah, Baba Shah Jamal is located in the eastern part of the city, Baba Inyat Shah is in the center of the city and there are so many others like Shebaz Qalandar, Suchal Surmast, Bari Imam, Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Baba Fareed Shakar Ganj, Haq Bahoo, Waris Shah and Baba Bulley Shah. So, all of them bring so much to the areas they belong to and the festivity is like a carnival. It is great to be part of it. One person I know is my illustrated father, he goes to Data Sahib I don't know since he was a school going kid and I followed his foot steps and visit the Saint's tomb on each opportunity. It feels good to visit Data Sahib and pray. Wonderful and Peaceful.
