Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit has denied that Mansoor Ejaz, the pivotal figure in Memogate scandal, has applied for Pakistani visa.
During the weekly Foreign Office briefing on Thursday, he informed that Pakistani High Commissioner had received no visa request from Mansoor Ejaz, and obviously no visa can ever be issued without any request.
Replying to another question regarding resumed drone attacks after a lull, the spokesman said that Pakistan’s position on drone attacks has always been very clear, as “We are of the view that strategic disadvantages outweigh tactical advantages of drone strikes”, adding that winning hearts and minds was crucial to win against violent extremism, which cannot happen if the collateral damage continues.
“Besides there is the issue of violation of our sovereignty which we can never condone”, he affirmed.

Mansoor Ijaz – a notorious Qadiani with deep links with jewish lobey, must only be allowed into Pakistan only if he seeks country's visa first. Without due process no way such a mean man be let in the country.
We, especially our Generals and Judges in particular, should have acted wisely. There was no need to make too much out of nothing. To the utter shock of ordinary Pakistanies our security agencies act promptly whenever they are to target to soft political targets in the country. While against the real security threats against they are to stay vigilent all the times; the security personals are seen nowhere at the times these threats are striking in brazen day light like for example in Karachi where some paid agents of RAW targeted country's most sensitive installation. Similarly our "honorable" (if they really are?) are seen bragging about "Rule of Law" in cases of weaker political figures like for example President and this Govt. The Judges remain dead silent dare say nothing when some powerful criminal is caught red handed in bloody act like for example Ramond Davis and Qadri.
WOW……………………….???????????????????????????????
SHAHID HUSSEIN QABOOLPURIA,
LAHORE, PAKISTAN
Shahid Wahabi, don't judge people by their color, looks or religion. Listen carefully if they are speaking truth or garbage like you.
Mansoor Ijaz is an enemy of Pakistan. He should be treated like one. He has long history of working against interests of Pakistan. Different petitions are being filed against him. He must be ordered by judiciary to face all charges.
As for the resumption of drone attacks, we have once again been badly let down by our Army on which we spend so much. Kayani had assured the nation that nobody would be allowed to violate our sovereignty. He has miserably failed. May be his close liaison with Mansoor Ijaz is the reason.
And when will Mr.Mansoor Ijaz turn himself and his pal ex CIA Director James Woolsey in for war crimes and lying about Saddam Hussein's involvement in 9/11,WTC mass murders and covering up for Israel ? And apologize for his role in Daniel Pearl's beheading in Pakistan and go to jail for his Crescent Hypdroplis Dubai 'under water hotels' stock shares money laundering fraud on the U.S.and London stock exchanges ? 'Businessman' indeed !

Kayani had promised that in future, nobody will allowed to violate our sovereignty. Drone attacks have started again. Is this gross failure of Kayani?

Come on, we are living in 2012 not 1912. He does not need to apply for a visa because he does not even need to travel to Pakistan. He can testify by simply using a live video conference with the court and other litigants. This will address his security concerns as well as death threats while in Pakistan. Other US citizens have done it recently in Mumbai trial case.
Somebody should tell Mansoor Ijaz to look in the mirror more often, I think this guy actually thinks he’s an “American”. I’ve never heard of any overseas Pakistanis (even 2nd and 3rd generations) who don’t have at least a NICOP or Pakistani Passport. This guy is beyond weird to say the least…
The biggest enemy of pakistan* * * *….
