UET and Nestle Pakistan won their respective matches of the Shapes Cricket League here on Tuesday.
UET defeated Mobilink by 27 runs at UET Cricket Ground No.1while Nestle beat FS Consultant by 134 runs.
Scores: UET got 216 runs for all in 29.3 overs. The main scorer was Sajjad Qaiser 61, Tahir Mahmood 50 and Muhammad Azwin 28*. Ijaz Malik took four for 33, Jawad Tayab two for 35 and Abdul Samad two for 37.
Mobilink chasing the target reached 189 runs for all out in 28.3 overs. Ijaz Malik 64, Jawad Tayab 30, Salman Dar 22. Akbar Baig four for 17, Ali Shan three for 30.
Ijaz Malik was declared Man of the Match and was given the prize by Malik Sarwar and Tanvir Director Sports UET.

At Garrison Academy Ground, Nestle scored 265 runs for 4 in 25 overs. Farhan Yousuf 64, Naved Zafar 37 and Waqas Mir 122. Salman Tahir took three wickets for 42 runs.
FS Consultant 131 for all in 20 overs. Muhammad Ali 45*, Mehar Ali 20. Farhan Yousuf 3 for 20 and Irfan 2 for 19 runs. Waqas Mir was declared the Man of the Match. The match was supervised by Jamil Shah and Saghir Ahmed (Umpires) and Waris Rasheed (Scorer).
