The heirs of deceased Umar Ashraf appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to arrest his killer, who they alleged, was being protected by some police officials.
In a protest staged outside the Lahore Press Club, the mourning relatives said Umar used to work at a private hospital, Abu Sina, the owner of which had killed Umar under mysterious circumstances.
They further alleged that the owner was already notorious for kidney trade and suspected that Umar was also killed in an attempt to remove his kidney.
