Brands Just Prêt wows shoppers

Brands Just Prêt, a high-end luxury prêt multi brand store, opened its doors to eager shoppers on December 23rd. Located in the centrally situated new Dolmen City Mall in Clifton, Brands Just Prêt is positioning itself as a luxurious and but affordable option amongst the existing multi-brand stores. The range of products available at Brands Just Prêt ranges from prêt wear, to shoes, jewellery, bags and clutches.
Hadi Anwar, CEO of Brands Just Prêt said: “I strongly believe that we are fulfilling a niche in the market by providing a home for luxury prêt. We plan to set international standards when it comes to shop décor, customer services, quality of products being retailed, selection of our designers and the overall look and feel of our first “state of the art” outlet, designed by Najmi Bilgrami Collaborative Limited and fitted out by Dimensions. For us, this is just the beginning of a long ambitious journey.” Brands Just Prêt currently stocks more than 30 designers including Sublime by Sara Shahid, Ayesha Khurram and Slate by Faiza Samee. Sublime is one of the pioneers of prêt in Pakistan, while Ayesha Khurram is a recent star whose pop art embroidery motifs are all the rage in the country. Slate is also one of the most recognisable and popular upcoming prêt brands. Other prominent names include Wardha Saleem, Ayesha, Somaya, Zainab Sajid, Limited Editions, Hina Khan, Zarmina, Farida Qureshi, Nida Ali, Naaj, Hejab Zafar and Amrah Khan.
“I feel we have an excellent line-up of designers,” said Hadi, 33, who is based in the UAE and plans to expand Brands Just Prêt internationally. “We have been very particular and choosy in putting together a list of designers who produce high-end products, attract crowds and compliment the design aesthetic of Brands Just Pret.”
The backbone of Brands Just Prêt are the two managing directors, Hasaah Hadi and Somaya Adnan. Hadi has extensive background in marketing, human resource and finance which provides the required business foundation and strength to Brands Just Prêt. She has been actively planning the expansion of Brands Just Prêt internationally. After the successful soft launch of the store in Karachi, she is working towards the opening of the second retail outlet in the Middle East.
On the other side, one half of the renowned Ayesha Somaya brand, Somaya is a dynamic and versatile businesswoman who has managed to build her own retail brand into an easily recognisable brand. Now she brings this understanding of fashion retail to running Brands Just Prêt. “Being a designer has helped me greatly in developing Brands Just Prêt’s business model,” said Somaya Adnan. “I am well aware of the hurdles and nuisances I face when stocking at other places and this is why we have tried our best to tailor made Brands Just Prêt into a model which is designer friendly.”
Hadi continues, “I feel that we have a very strong, versatile and tenacious team which is why we have achieved in months all what other Multi Brand Stores aspire to achieve in years. The model seems to be working because designers are already raving about Brands Just Prêt.”
Brands Just Prêt Karachi is expected to be just one of a series of retail outlets which will be opened up in the next few years. A second retail outlet in the UAE is expected to open up shortly, possibly followed by more outlets in the Middle East. The team also has plans of expanding nationally to cities like Lahore and Islamabad.
