Displaying the documents signed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and his brother, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in which he appealed to former president Pervez Musharraf for pardon during the trial of cases against him and his family members in 2000, Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Tuesday that Nawaz deliberately ignored the ‘National Reconciliation Ordinance’ (NRO) he had signed with the military dictator to avoid imprisonment. “Nawaz Sharif is talking too much about the NRO promulgated by the previous regime but has forgotten the NRO he had signed with Pervez Musharraf to escape imprisonment,” he told reporters after attending a meeting held to review the implementation process of the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan Package. Reacting to Malik’s tirade against Nawaz, PML-N central leader Senator Pervez Rashid said the pieces of paper that were being made public by Malik had already been dumped in the dustbin of history by the Supreme Court. “Rehman Malik should not throw stones at others while sitting in a glass house,” he said. The interior minister said facing jail was not easy and Nawaz sought pardon for himself and his family members, signed a deal and left the nation to face a dictator. He also made public the documents signed by the PML-N leaders.

  1. lolz..these two ppp and pmln always keep on pouring allegations against each other but will never do anything practical thing. Both understands the fact that if accountability started under an independent NAB; both will be in trouble…..

  2. After the judgement of Supreme Court on NRO case, it looks that PPP leaders are confused and now they are blaming other political parties. But one thing is sure that by blaming nothing will happen if PPP led government is serious against any political criminals and it has also proofs than it must move to NAB and court so that culprits not ran away.

  3. Mian Nawaz Sharif and co has not come in politics through a political process that is why one should not accept that they will show a political skill. they only know power politics and that is it.
