Javed Hashmi likely to be named PTI president

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central executive committee’s important meeting will be held on January 14 in Lahore where Javed Hashmi is likely to be chosen as the party’s president, media reported on Tuesday.
Media quoted sources as saying that the meeting would discuss various party-related issues, including amendment in the party’s constitution, extension of the central executive committee (CEC) as well as the core committee, strategy of the coming elections and the allocation of designations to recently joined leaders.
“The CEC will also discuss the matter to elect Hashmi as the president of the party,” sources said.

    Now People will decide who the better leader is

    One who fight against dictator or One who make agreement with dictator

    One who was standing with workers or One who leave them in prison and leave for Jeddah Server Palace

    One who stayed in Jail and did not bow in front of dictator or One who weep in front of Judges for mosquito bites

  30. great move this will encourage other leaders to join the party specialy from pmln , when they will see javaid hashmi as presedent, remember he is from pmln so they will join as they will be comfertable under him. so good tactics by IK to attract those who haven't joined yet.

  40. Those that foolishly harp on 'but what about the youth…. ' should know that everyone has a place in society. To make an inexperienced young person a party chairman or other senior position, just for the sake of it is to invite trouble. Not to mention what benefit the young persons would be to themselves or to the party.

  44. Wel My Feeling for this decision is very good, I really can smell something very good out of it …. the only thing that needs to be consider is Shah Mehmood's Position, I wonder if he is comfortable with this …..
    Over all a very good posture by the party and King Khan.. this will really help PTI in future challenges to come

  52. PTI's CEC decisions over a period of time would become traditions of the party. Javed Hashmi's being made the President and Qureshi's becoming V.P. is nothing new in Pakistan's politics.

    Where is the "change" in the style of political appointments within the party. I expect the youth to introduce better traditions within PTI. To Javed Hashmi, you stature will be greater if you be in the background to groom future leaders of Pakistan.
