Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Zaka Ashraf has said that Mohsin Khan, current coach of national team, is a talented man but he is not a qualified coach. Talking to media here in Hyderabad after attending the golden jubilee celebrations of Arbab Niaz Stadium on Sunday, Ashraf said that they were making changes in domestic cricket. He said that international cricket would be restored in the country after Bangladesh tour.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf has expressed the hope for a revival of the international cricket after the anticipated visit of Bangladesh cricket team in April this year. He said this while addressing a press conference here on Sunday at the golden jubilee celebration of Niaz Stadium. The PCB chief said that Danish Kaneria could be included in the team after getting clearance.
Mohsin's credential's are not for people like Zaka Ashraf to figure out that he is a qualified coach or not. I ask what makes Zaka Ashraf to be a qualified PCB head. He is a banker and I honestly don't know if he did an excellent job or merely did satisfactorily well in his career. But nevertheless I am shocked to read this statement that of all the professional cricketers in the country Zaka Ashraf has the audacity to declare Mohsin Khan a non qualified coach. I ask Zaka on what basis he disqualify Mohsin to be a coach of the team. If it is feed back from other's than he should take the current performance of the team in consideration which leads to a rapidly rising rate of improvement in so many facets of the game. Teams conduct has improved, record of the success has gone up and discipline is better than before. Other things will improve with the passage of time and resumption of International cricket in the country. So, Zaka Ashraf should not touch the current management of the team.
