The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced to install a power transformer of 20/26 MVA at 132 KV Grid Station Satellite Town Rawalpindi replaced by with new 40 MVA power transformer (double in Capacity).
According to an IESCO spokesman, the work of replacing would be start at 7 am today and expected to be completed at 7 am on January 9 (Monday). On January 8 (Sunday), Morning 9 am to 11 am, power supply to the following feeders would remain suspended. Its includes Commercial Centre, Farooq Azam, Fort Road, E Block, Malikabad, T&T, Asghar Mall, B Block, New Malpur, Shakrial and Jamia Masjid Road. Power supply between 4pm to 5:30pm is scheduled to be suspended to T&T, Asghar Mall, B Block, New Malpur, Shakrial and Jamia Masjid Road feeders. However, in case of unavoidable circumstances, interruption may be faced on these feeders.
