Musharraf is proclaimed offender, to be held: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that former president Pervez Musharraf is a proclaimed offender and will be arrested under law of the country.
Talking to media men at his residence on Sunday, Malik said that court’s verdict would be followed regarding Pervez Musharraf.
Malik also condemned the statement of Pervez Musharraf regarding Israel.
To a question regarding BB’s assassination, he maintained, “We forbade Benazir Bhutto from addressing a gathering at Liaqat Bagh, Rawalpindi, while I was not responsible for her security plan rather the President PPP, Rawalpindi, was responsible for the security plan.
Moreover, Malik said, “a specific group is making conspiracy against me and Babar Awan that we changed the security plan”. These are merely rumours against us, he added.
To a question about Memogate, he said that this issue has hurt the emotions of the people. It is very regrettable that the leadership of PML-N and PML-N president Nawaz Sharif did not speak against Mansoor Ijaz in its two tenures.
