Country on verge of 71-like situation if new provinces not made: MQM

Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Dr. Farooq Sattar warned of 1971-like situation if new provinces were not made.
Talking to the journalists at Multan Press Club on Sunday, he said that all political forces should be vigilant about the current situation of the country.
He maintained that there would not be peace and stability in the country until equal rights are provided to the masses without any discrimination of region.
He said that Quaid MQM, Altaf Hussain has fulfilled his promise, which he made with the people of Southern Punjab.
He said that MQM has started efforts for separate province for the people of Southern Punjab, which is their long-standing demand. Sattar demanded referendum in various districts over inclusion in south Punjab.
MQM in its first stage has submitted a resolution for establishment of two new provinces includes South Punjab and Hazara, he said.
Dr. Sattar claimed that MQM would provide the due rights of the suppressed people of Southern Punjab, which would bring political stability in the country as well.
Moreover, he said that the 20th Amendment would bring revolutionary change in the history of the country.
