Crime Investigation Department (CID) police claimed on Saturday to have killed alleged Taliban’s Balochistan leader Yasin in an encounter on Shahra-e-Faisal.
A CID official said two of his accomplices were arrested and two CID personnel were also injured in the encounter. Yasin was the chief of a banned outfit’s Balochistan chapter, reports said.
The deceased TTP leader was allegedly involved in attacks on two franchises of telecommunication companies in Karachi.
