Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz has refused to appear before the judicial commission, set up by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to probe the memogate issue, on January 9.
According to report, Mansoor Ejaz has sent a letter to the commission setting 19 conditions to appear before them.
“Mansoor has asked the commission to record his first statement in London than he will come Pakistan,” report said.
He also demanded of the government to provide fool-proof security to his family in Pakistan.
Report said that the letter had been forwarded to the Attorney General of Pakistan by the commission to get federation’s position.
It is to mention here that Mansoor Ijaz had claimed that Hussain Haqqani on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari emailed him a memo for US Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Mike Mullen, seeking US help to stop possible military coup in the wake of May 2 raid that killed Osama bin Laden.
