Pagara flown to London for treatment

Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) chief Pir Pagara was flown to London for medical treatment in an air ambulance here on Thursday.
Pir Pagara’s son Pir Sibghatullah Rashdi, Jam Madad Ali, Imtiaz Ali Shaikh and a team of doctors also accompanied him to London after medics allowed the veteran politician to travel for medical treatment.
Ailing Pir Pagara was taken in an ambulance from a private hospital in Karachi to an air ambulance at airport, which has flown to London via Istanbul.
A large number of Hur followers of Pir Pagara were present at the airport to accord send off to their spiritual leader.
Pir Pagara was admitted at a local hospital in Karachi on Nov. 24, where he underwent a surgery to remove a cyst. After the procedure, Pir Pagara complained of shortness of breath, which was followed by a kidney disorder and a possible case of pneumonia, sources said.
The PML-F chief’s younger son, Sadaruddin Shah, has been in London to make arrangements for his father’s treatment.
