National Assembly (NA) Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza on Wednesday accepted resignations of six MNAs, who resigned after joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI). According to notifications issued by the NA Secretariat, Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s (NA-148 Multan) resignation was accepted with effect from November 15, Nawabzada Muhammad Khan Hoti ‘s (NA-9 Mardan) resignation was accepted with effect from December 16, Jahangir Tareen’s (NA-195 Rahimyar Khan) resignation was accepted with effect from December 21 and Makhdoom Javed Hashmi’s (NA-149 Multan), Maimoona Hashmi’s (RS Punjab) and Sardar Assef Ahmed Ali’s (NA-140 Kasur) resignation was accepted with effect from December 29.
