A colourful opening ceremony was held for the exhibition themed “Hansty Zakham” by Dr AASyed at Alhamra Lahore Art Council on Tuesday. The exhibition, inaugurated by Pakistan Today Editor Arif Nizami, was attended by people of various walks of life. Syed, who is basically an MBBS doctors, used a variety of new techniques of expressing his view of the country’s present situation. Many art pieces defining different moments and meanings of humanity were displayed at the exhibition which attracted people from a range of backgrounds.
Ayesha Omer, a lawyer, congratulated Dr AA Syed for a successful exhibition saying that she had seen very few exhibitions with such a great response. “I am a lawyer, but a part of mine has always loved art. It is amazing to learn that so many ideas and themes can be expressed by a soft tool like arts. I congratulate the artist for using different ideas to express his views”, she said. Usman Zahid, a student of arts said Syed’s work was inspirational. “The art pieces are prolific and I think the artist is of the same taste, I totally can relate the work of Syed,” he said.
