The Government Girls Secondary School on Mission Road has been renamed as the Malala Yousufzai Government Girls Secondary School.  Yousufzai is a 14-year-old girl from Swat, who played a brave role in spreading education in the face of harshest opposition by the Taliban in the Malakand division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A notification announcing the renaming of the school was issued by the Education Department on Tuesday.
